Pornography often gets a bad rap with women but there are those of us who see nothing wrong with it. In fact, it’s generally more right than wrong. As a woman who enjoys watching porn now and then, I can’t sympathize with women who are against it, but I can imagine how painful having a husband who’s more interested in online porn sites than rolling in the hay with me would feel. It would be hurtful and disconcerting to me, making me feel unwanted and definitely unsexy. The article mentions a helpful book on getting your marriage back after porn addiction has taken over and having perused the synopsis of the book, the issue of trust stands out to me foremost.

Trust in a marriage is important in all situations, including sex. Trusting my partner not to judge my body negatively, trusting my partner’s fidelity, and trusting my partner’s lust for me are all necessary in the creation of great sex. Trust is lost in a partner who prefers online porn but sharing in the fun of porn together eliminates the danger of trust issues due to one-sided lust.

How do couples enjoy porn together? Simple. Follow a few fun rules:

1. Give porn a chance. You might like it better than you think.

2. Watch naked, cuddled together.

3. Tell each other what’s going on while the other is…busy and not necessarily able to see the TV. It’s good bedroom etiquette.

4. Don’t be afraid to try out a few things you see in the flick. New moves are always a plus.

5. Have a good time and let your inhibitions take a rest.

6. Don’t watch without your partner. That’s where problems start to arise.
